I have installed PMS using the latest version, but when I try to open it nothing happens. I have tried repairing and reinstalling and rebooting, but with no luck.
I am new to this so any help would be most appreciated. I wanted a more stable and flexible alternative to sharing my own media with my television, but this is causing more problems.
I have just tried an alternative which has worked marvellously on first go without issue. Thank you anyway.
I take it that “alternative” was finishing the setup using the bundled version of Plex Web (e.g. via http:/127.0.0.1:32400/web if you’re on the same machine as your PMS or http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web otherwise) – as per the related support article? 
Would love to read that article, but I am watching a film using Emby. I didn’t want to mention it by name
