PMS doesn't recognize several files download from Youtube

PMS v1.40.2.8395
Arch Linux

I have several files downloaded from Youtube that PMS does not recognize. When I force a rescan of the library in question, it ignores those files, as if they were not video files. This is the info for one of those files (it applies to all of them):

I can play those files without problems on the computer and on a Dune HD 4K player.

Need the logs after adding the file. suggest doing plex dance with that file first then get server logs

The problem is that PMS does not support the AVC1 codec and therefore does not recognize it as video. I downloaded the same videos using another codec (AVC and VP9) and it recognizes them.

In which type of library are you placing these videos: TV, Movie, Other Video?

The TV scanner does not look at the content of the files, so the codec used doesn’t have anything to do with whether content will be scanned into the library. (It could conceivably affect being able to play, but not whether it appears in a library in the first place.)

In this case, the files are not organized per our recommendation. Specifically, you should add a season folder/directory under the series one and then put the episodes in there. Also, the filename isn’t following the sXXeYY format suggestion.e.g.

/multimedia2/series/El Conquistador del Fin del Mundo (2011)/season 07/El Conquistador del Fin del Mundo (2011) s07e01.mp4
