I’ve got some danish movies and some has æ, ø or å in their names. Im having troubles with this content. Nameing is correcr. If i add this movie:
Adams æbler (2005).mkv
Adams æbler (2005).jpg
The poster wont be used, but if i change it to:
Adams aebler (2005).mkv
Adams aebler (2005).jpg
It works, but in Plex the year of the movie is strangely 2017. I have tried to update the library, refresh meta data etc but with no luck…
I now tried to change æ to ae and back to æ and it is a workaround to fix it.

Sad to hear people knowing about it but nothing happens… Not much joy to use Plex when such an issue dosent get foixed…

Huh…
I’m danish, and enjoy it…
And doesn’t care about the filename on the file system, as long as it’s shown correctly to my users.
As such, I use English naming, which also makes matching of medias better, since you’ll find stuff better using their English naming
system
