Hello there the PMS been crashing on my windows 10 once or twice daily for more than a month now, it has been working perfectly before that and always up to date, and I didnt change anything in the setting for the last month and I was wondering if anyone is facing this problem right now.
I can see the PMS is still running and the icon is up but it’s not working unless I restart the pc or sign out/sign in again in the windows and it works again (closing the app and running it again doesnt solve it), plus the player still keep on working only internally after the crash because its in the same network, but external users cant see the server and showing them that its down.
Please provide your logs that capture one of these crash times. I recently helped a few other users with this where the preview thumbnail generator was not working on some badly DVR’d content. If this is the case, the logs will indicate what file it was scanning when it crashed. Removing, stopping scan of that file will stop the crashes for now until we can figure out why it’s crashing.
Okay by reading other threads i noticed people enabling Debug, mine was disabled and i just enabled it will add the log after the next crash which will happen any time now
