QNAP TS453Pro running the latest QTS firmware (issue was occuring prior to this latest firmware). I am seeing Plex dropout, and a SegFault in DMESG. I have Verbose logging enabled (because in previous forum posts people said it needs to be on), and have a snapshot of all logs at the exact moment it occurs (have stripped out anything older than 1hr before the segfault). I can’t see much in the logs that helps why it’s crashing. The crash seems to occur even if no players are active, and I see seg fault in the linux dmesg when it occurs.
Server Version#: 1.22.2, but also does it on 1.21.x
Player Version#: Many different
I do have the logs, though not sure if it’s safe to share them publically? There was a successful crash upload too which I have the URL for.
Any assistance? I have plex pass.

Hi @sa2000 , Thanks - I have a full copy of the logs for when it happened. I had also nuked all the logs shortly before capturing the crash in these logs, so there shouldn’t be too much excess noise in the logs. I’ve also created a text file with the exact date/time of the crash (Apr 20, 2021 08:38:01.168), I have zipped a copy of all the logs and put into a dropbox share (1.6mb), may I PM that to you? (or is it safe to share logs publically?)
Interestingly, yesterday I completely removed PMS, reinstalled to 1.22.2, imported my libraries - and it ran like a dream for 6 hours under heavy duress too without an issue. Until, i started a long standing WT Utils app (which looks for orphaned files, subtitle mananagement) … then PMS crashed within a minute. I’ve since stopped (and remove) WT Utils, but even so PMS is back to the same behaviour of crashing frequently (within an hour or two, even idle), so i don’t know if WT Utils “did something” to it.
Either way I will PM you the share link of the ZIP file … very much appreciate your help.
Cheers,
Davidson-NAS.
ps have updated to PlexMediaServer-1.22.3.4392 (which is new, via plex pass downloads option on download page). Doesn’t say BETA anywhere though. Issue persisted this morning after updating to 1.22.3.4392
