I’m already using the hosted app so the above still stands as not all OTA channels want to play with app.plex.tv.
I don’t use the hosted app very often anyways but I want Live TV to work for everyone so I jumped in here.
I see, I’ll have to do some more poking around with different channels.
Also I’m unaware of any OTA stations around here that use AAC for their audio.

I’ve had a bit of a revelation. I found that using the FireFox browser for viewing Plex Live TV does not experience the 3-4 minute error issue. Chrome, yes all day long except for a one time bizarre 1 hour session 1.5 weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon. I’ve tried disabling extensions; my only extension is uBlock Origin ad blocker. No luck. Session ends with the typical error dialog everyone is receiving. I tried FireFox just to see if it made any difference. To my surprise, no issues for the last 1.5 weeks. Now, I still see a tuning error once in a while when selecting a channel, but not the session error while watching. If using an app, it may just be using the default web browser. This may be used by applications if they do not ship with their own browser control.
I suggest trying to install/use latest FireFox browser. If using an app, try making FireFox the default browser and retest.

Chrome is working fine for me now, both my HDHR and my xteve tuners. Both will play uninterrupted for hours.
The desktop OSX and Windows apps are still broken, they won’t even start a stream.
As of 1.25.6.5545, mine seems to be working for over an hour today.
Issue still happen on my side …
Edit : But who watch live TV on web client anyways ?
