PMS transcoding bug on version above 1.14

Hi, I’m running my PMS on windows and currently using 1.14 version. Anytime I tried to upgrade to a newer version, I get tons of [transcoder] error in my console and any live tv feed is unwatchable.

I was decided to keep the 1.14 version that is working, but I just received a email telling me that if I still wanna use the guide for live tv I have to switch to 1.16. :rage:

Anyone else have the same issue??
Any help form Plex tech please!!??
Thanks!

you will need to post a lot more info if you want some help;

pms version
client version and device
what kind of server hardware (os/cpu/ram)
and plex devs will want a server log from when the errors happen (DEBUG, NOT VERBOSE)

Oh sorry I’m not really used to post tproblems here.

Os : Windows 10
CPU: I5-6500 @ 3.20Ghz
Ram: 8 GB

PMS version : 1.16.1.1246
Client version : Web 3.95.2
Devices used: Nvidia Shield TV, Web

So Whenever I want to watch Live TV, my feed gets pixelized and in the console I get this kind of error.

Jun 21, 2019 09:57:23.381 [20972] Erreur — [Transcoder] [mpeg2video @ 020f4800] Invalid frame dimensions 0x0.
Jun 21, 2019 09:57:23.752 [21068] Erreur — [Transcoder] [mpeg2video @ 02cccac0] ac-tex damaged at 36 19
Jun 21, 2019 09:57:29.395 [24728] Erreur — [Transcoder] [mpeg2video @ 02cccac0] Warning MVs not available

Before I was using PMS version 1.14.1.5488 and everything was working fine.
I’m including the log zip

Thanks
Plex Media Server Logs_2019-06-21_09-50-43.zip (1.9 MB)

I’ve made some tests.
Whenever I watch it on the web client these errors comes out, if I watch it on my Nvidia Shield TV I get some pixels but no errors until I set the quality to something else than original.

Thanks for your help

I think I might have solved the problem.

I deleted the certificate.p12 file in the cache folder, restated the pms and now everything seems to be working just fine.

I’ll do another post if it’s not the case.

Thanks!

Nevermind what I said earlier…:rage:

It still doing the same errors when it needs to transcode.

With the latest version 1.16.3 everything’s fine!!!
