I am trying to make metadata for my home video show up in PLEX.
I was unable to find any guide on how to prep files for use with the “Personal movie” agent, in PLEX.
Since “TV-show”, expect more consistency between files. I found it to be most correct to use “Movie” or “Other”.
I was also unable to find if PLEX support XML or other database files as a side file with metadata.
If i add it as “TV-show”,
It will respect “DATE”, “TITLE”, “SUMMERY”. And not anything else.
If ia add it as “Movie” or “Other”.
It will respect “ALBUM”, “ARTIST”, “SUMMERY”, And not anything else.
Can it be added support for “DATE”, “TITLE” and “WRITER/COMPOSER” in “Movie” and “Other”?
note: There is probly othere tags that can be useful, but for my use i think that is enough.
I am refering to mp4 files with metadata, like “\xa9nam”, used with tools like “mp4tags” on Linux.
