This thread was closed, but the problem is not fixed. I have tried restarting my server and even updating. My Agents tab is never saved when I make changes to it.
Given that’s an almost 2-year-old thread that was auto-closed end of last year… would you mind sharing some more details about your setup – e.g. what version of PMS do you have installed and on what platform?
I had the latest version as of today, and when I noticed the issue, I installed the beta. I’m on a Windows 10 Pro Zephyrus S17 (2021). The internet I’m using is Xfinity 400mbps dl speed and 10mbps upload speed, but it should be irrelevant to the actual troubleshooting, I’m just not sure what else you’d really need to know.
Well actually, it’s important to know that I pulled up the server on a different PC, an Ipad, and an Android as well, none of them let me change any of the agent settings. It just reverted every time. I also can’t get generated thumbnails to show, which I assume is related. I should note that the PC is about two weeks old and the Plex server was setup today.
Can you double check if the server itself is ok?
You could verify there’s no database corruption:
Another possibility is Plex cannot actually write to the PC‘s HDD for some reason (e.g.bad drive… though I suppose you would have noticed that otherwise).
If the above doesn’t show what’s causing this, you might look into the server logs for related error messages (or share them here)
