Problem logging in to plex - cant claim server

Server Version#: 1.41.4.9463 (although Qnap says there is a newer version for download which there isn’t on the Plex.tv site)
Player Version#:
QNap NAS, worked great for hosting Plex for years, Now suddenly the server is not linked to my account. I have Uninstalled Plex on the Qnap, rebooted, downloaded latest server, setup again then when i try to claim the server on Qnap it says there is a problem logging in to my plex.tv account and wont claim the server. I have tried everything i can (no IT expert)

I am not a SSH expert so can’t easily navigate my server through terminal on a mac. The IP address of the server is 192.168.1.237. I have used terminal to SSH admin@192.168.1.237 and then stopped and deleted Plex before rebooting the NAS thinking this would remove everything.

i really don’t know which way to turn, it’s so frustrating.

Please help - a guide for idiots would be sincerely appreciated.

I have a tool which makes reclaiming easy

If you look at the README.md, you’ll see what it looks like on QNAP

Thanks for the reply.

So close ! - figured a way though but now get an error when executing the file
… Any suggestions?

All, thanks for your support. I had tried so many things and even though my Qnap was accessible off the local network it turned out to be the network that was the ultimate issue.

On the Qnap, by deleting the network settings and thus letting the system completely reset the network (not simply changing DNS settings), it ultimately worked.

Hope this helps someone that may have a similar issue in the future.
