Problem when skipping UK HDTV recordings

Both PMS & player on ShieldTV
versions 6.13.0.3294 & 1.11.0.4666

I network logged from about 10:47 (20m ago) username stuartf1, also PMS & XML data attached

If I do rapid repeated skips forward (several quick taps right on remote or selecting forward arrows in player) to beyond the current buffer I get message “Playback has stopped because connection to PMS has been lost…” , I select cancel then can resume playback again ok

Continual seeking works fine, ie holding down right button or forward arrows in app

Individual 30s skips are fine if I leave couple of seconds between taps

Similar problem going backward only this resulted in choppy playback & a force close

Not sure if PMS or beta player issue

Thanks for reporting and providing us with logs, will investigate the issue. Out of interest, do you only have this issue with UK HDTV recordings and not other video content from your library?

Would you be able to grab some client side logs after the issue has occurred, see https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201573117-Android-and-GoogleTV-Logs for information on how to get the client logs.

Will do shortly, can you not access the network logs as mentioned in 1st post?

PS. I’ll experiment with a few other video formats too but don’t recall it doing it with others
