Metadata for Doom Patrol refreshed and now it thinks it’s a VICE News Reports
Trying to fix the match doing this
Gives me this this. Right plot but wrong show but if I select it I get the plot you see in the first image
Adding the tvdb id
Gives no results
Tried tvdb:355622 and just the id 355622 still no results
On your fix match page (image #2 ) select Auto Match and the single option should be “Plex TV Series”, select it instead of search options. I have exactly the same fix match info and I get the correct metadata
Also change tvdb:355622 to tvdb-355622. The syntax you used is wrong.
It still auto matches to that Vice show
Syntax was correct see here https://support.plex.tv/articles/201018497-fix-match-match/
So, entering `110381` as the search term will search for that exact show.
Even using the - you still get no results

Also mentioned here. It appears to need a correction in Plex’s database.

Description:
The TV Series Agent entry for Doom Patrol is messed up. It has two tvdb associations instead of one:
355622 - This is the correct one
371780 - This is VICE News Reports, therefore it is incorrect
I have done the Plex Dance and that did not fix it. It seems like an issue with Plex’s server-side mappings for the TV Series Agent.
This causes no issues within the actual Ple…
Very strange. I just refreshed the show on my server and it did not update with what you see.
I’ve the show within a Doom Patrol (2019) {tmdb-79501} folder so I wonder how you have the files named on disk? Maybe try and fix match off tmdb and see if that helps helps.
Ah okay. So if you use imdb or tmdb ids to match that will fix the problem as they don’t have duplicates.
Using tmdb id doesn’t work but using the imdb id tt8416494 does get the right info.
