Hello, from 8-10 hours i have problem with my plex server. I was watching and everything was fine. After finishing the episode and trying to watch next i realize that my plex server doesnt work anymore.
Ive attached screenshot from the error. I dont know if this is update or something else. But o dont know what to do.
That indicates PMS is using a different network adapter than the primary one. Check your netowrk tab in your PMS settings. There’s a setting for “Preferred network interface”. Set that to equal your 192 adapter and restart PMS. See if that helps.
In both your logs, I see this. So PMS didn’t crash, but something told it to exit. I do see some i/o errors related to your database. I see you moved your Plex database to H:. Is this a local drive connected to your computer or a mapped network drive?
H: is a local drive and there i store my database in case something happen to C:
45.148.4.19 is my vpn address with open port 32400 and that works from 4-5 months now and i usually watch in my local network from ipad or apple tv so i keep remote access on only in case if i want to watch outside my network. Which is very rare. But when i do it works.
About stopping the server in both logs is probably the same because i stopped it, because right now it doesnt work.
On network settings, for network interface is my local network of the server. But when i change it to “Any” is still the same. Restarted the PMS and still dont work.
PS. For some reason when start PMS H:, where is my database goes to 100% load.
PMS is seeing your VPN address instead of the ethernet card. Can you turn off your VPN and restart PMS. This way it will see the network card first. See if you can access PMS. If that works, then you can turn the VPN back on afterwards.
Ive tried that already and still dont work. I think its problem with my HDD H: i will move my db on some other drive and i will get back to you with the result.
