Problem description

My iPhone is connected to the mobile hotspot. The traffic of the mobile hotspot is very limited, so I set the Wi Fi of the mobile hotspot to the “low data mode” on my iPhone
I found that PLEX could not recognize the “low data mode” of Wi Fi, so it would still download crazily, leading to a large traffic consumption.

Proposal

Handle “low data mode” Wi Fi scenarios according to cellular network logic to avoid consuming scarce traffic.

The Plex app has it’s own settings for Cellular use. Just enable that and set the quality setting to what you want.
