Currently I don’t understand, how the series thetvtb-scanner works. Some field remain empty, updates are ignored. Is anybody able to give me some hints or explanations?
1. Problem: Missing description of main series
I have added a main description in the tvdb, but even if I delete/renew the series in plex, rescann (deepscan, …), update via right-click, … the text in the pms (server and client view) remains empty:
2. Problem: Missing episode description and date
I have added text and dates of some episodes in the tvdb, but the pms entries stay empty as well (same as problem 1.):

3. Missing picture updates
I have changed one picture in the tvdb, because the old one had a wrong aspect ratio:
But the one in pms stays the same, regardless of rescan, … and the new one isn’t neither available in the picture maintenance of the episode.
Where are the errors? What can I do? Or are this rescan-bugs of the scanner or agent?
Probably an issue with caching.
Go into Media Manager, open the series, Change Artwork.
Yes, this could be, but how to renew this information? It should not be a solution to deinstall the whole pms and re-install this - only to get the new information from tvdb. All other thinks, like rescan, deep-rescan, deletion of episode/serie and put it in back afterwards, drop the metadata, renw them afterwards, ... didn't help.

Is there really no solution for getting updated or new text, fan art, dates, … from thetvtb into plex?
use the dissociate item in the right click menu, then repair incorrect information in the same menu.
