@shea9872 - just wondering if anyone else is having an issue right now with Live TV. I’ve got the following entries over and over and over Sep 27, 2020 12:06:16.344 [7636] DEBUG - EPG[xmltv]: Next thing to start/end is at 2020-09-26 22:30:00 GMT (in -2175 seconds)
Live TV and DVR is broken, and it’s consuming about 30% of my CPU and also there is a constant 1Mbps stream to itself. Version is 1.20.2.3343, I tried downgrading to the previous version but still have the same issue.
Wondering if it’s an issue with the xml file and if anyone else is seeing the same problem right now?

I was just playing trains with my 3yo on the floor and noticed the fan in my PMS machine going crazy. After some playing around I found myself here looking to see if it was a current issue. Thanks for the post so i can go back to the trains and stop mucking around. Last thing I did before coming here was started refreshing the guide, I’ll update if that solves it.

I updated the guide, but it made no difference for me.
My suspicion is that this is a Plex bug to do with daylight savings. However, I’m definitely going to take a good look at the guide and just ensure that it’s not an issue on my end
Either way Plex shouldn’t be taking up 30% of CPU even with a bad guide!
Mmm yeah that’s a very good point. I noticed this started yesterday (or possibly even the day before), but that’s not to say it’s not daylight savings related.

Same issue here, started happening this morning, but was OK last night. CPU usage increased and Live TV & DVR Guide page or anything else nothing working, browser page hangs while its trying to talk to the server - does time out eventually.
Deleted the ‘DVR’ in the Live TV & DVR, but then re-installing it only fixes it for a few seconds, than it crashes again. And a real bad crash!

Yes, that would match up with it being a daylight savings problem I think. We also seemed to have a similar issue last year, but I wasn’t able to look into it in time.
Based on my digging so far, this does seem to be a Plex issue (I’ve manually checked through the guide where Plex says there is a discontinuity and everything looks correct). I’ll see if I can get into contact with someone from Plex to see if this is a bug on their end, but for now there isn’t much I can do I think.
However, it does seem specific to todays listings, as when I remove entries from before midday today it seems to work fine. This should resolve itself tomorrow, but I’ll see if I can do a quick fix for today.

Just did a refresh of the guide and has sorted my android devices… thx for working on this and providing the guide!
Same thing is happening in Australia now after DST change overnight. Looking back it seems there are issues every year yet nothing seems to get fixed.
Was there a way to resolve this or do you just have to wait until it sorts itself out? I’m getting 100% CPU so don’t want to leave it running that way. Fortunately nothing important scheduled to be recorded today since that’s all broken.
Appears to have resolved itself after several more hours. Until the next DST change I guess…
I’ve reported it to Plex, but no word on any timeframe on when it will be fixed (if it at all). As far as I can tell there isn’t anyway of stopping it, aside from temporarily deleting your DVR or your Plex server.
In the last PMS update the DST issue appears to be resolved Plex Media Server
this is currently not working, i noticed the status has been listed as down for a week
Fixed. Looks like I wasn’t getting the emails I was supposed to be getting when something goes wrong

Plex Media Server 1.21.0.3711 is now available to everyone.
