Proper file names for different disks or seasons from dvds?

I was trying to import some of my personal dvds from an old tv show. However Plex is confusing disk 1 and disk 2 from the same season. It’s decided that both dvds are disk 1 from the show’s season.

How do I properly name the files so Plex understands different disks? On each dvd, the files in each video_ts directory are the same.

If there is a guide, please point me to it. I’ve searched but all of the links I’ve tried for multi disc seasons are expired.

Look for your show/seasons/episodes and name yours accordingly, paying particular attention to - The Plex Rules:

DVDs/BluRays always have several disks for each season - you gotta do the leg work.

Nutshell:
Identify your episode, by watching some of it, and hoping it has a name/writer/director you can pick out of the opening credits - then name accordingly.

Sometimes - not often - TVDB’s DVD Order may help, but most times it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

Edit: You found the guide… almost there… now comes the legwork.

Wow you weren’t joking about TV DB. The first title I checked has Futurama’s disc 3 of Season 1 as the beginning of Season 2.
