PS3 - "An error occurred."

Hi,


Since yesterday when PSN was down and therefore so was the app, I’ve been unable to use it.


PSN is obviously back up now and I get as far as the PLEX logo coming up, however soon after, I get:


An error occurred.

Try Again.

Go Home.

Sign Out.



Try again just stays the same. Go home seems to reset the app and takes me back through the PLEX logo and back to the same three options and cryptic error message. Sign out takes me back to the PLEX PIN entry screen. I can reactivate with the PIN but again, it just goes back to the same screen.


Anyone else been able to use the app since PSN came back up?

Anyone else been able to use Plex on the PS3 since Xmas Day?

Same issue on ps4 except the error message does not show and 3 animated dots appear in the bottom right corner (after a long time showing the logo)

I had that yesterday when PSN was down, but since it came back up for PS3, it gets a little further.

I have the exact same on PS4... :(

I gave up, cancelled my Plex pass and bought an Apple TV and installed Plex connect. Free and about 65,000x better!

Now it seems to be working all of a sudden. I just hope it keeps working...

I'm a new plexpass user and i have the same problem (france)
I'm using a NAS (QNAP) as a server and ps3 slim.
I know plex and all other product are ok (iOS product mac pc etc..)
I want to use plex on ps3 for reading mkv's file like a many other users.
I wonder if it's possible to set a specific profil for this material (PS3) ? because it's the principal reason of my subscription and i don't want to re encode all my files...
