Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at myip:3400.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Same for non-ignito window now.

Plex is showing.

Qnap thinks it’s open and running.

Ok… Time to be rude with it.

  1. Stop PMS
  2. Install https://github.com/ukdtom/PMSLibShare/releases/latest
  3. Open File Station
  4. Go to the PMS Library
  5. Rename Preferences.xml to Preferences.xml.old
  6. Start it
  7. If you are not greeted with the sign-in and setup wizard, the problem is not with PMS but is the QNAP / network itself.
  8. When greeted, sign in (claim it again).
  9. Proceed through normal setup except do not create new shares. They still exist and will be visible after this re-authentication
  10. Skip through through to the Dashboard
  11. Settings - Server – Revisit all your settings as some will have changed.
