Hello,
I use a QNAP TVS-872XT with Intel Core i7 8700T and 64 GB RAM as Plex Media Server.
Lately, Plex has started going crazy with transcoding. So i decided to install it from the scratch, but I saved the com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db and com.plexapp.plugins.library.db file. Now I have the same problems as before and more. Plex cant download the codecs to transcode and also it cant load covers. When I download the codecs with the link from the error message, transcoding works. I haven’t changed anything on my network :frowning: Other Services and Virtual Machines on my QNAP
have no problems establishing an internet connection.

Do you still have PMS 1.221.4163 available locally?

I am seeing your machine is not detecting the HW transcoding as it should be.

If this is running as the native app, it should see that hardware without issue.
Only PMS 1.22.1.4200 & 4288 are having this issue - which has been reported to Engineering.

If you do not have 4136 and need a copy, please let me know and I’ll provide a link to it.

No, I dont have 4163 available :frowning:
And yes, I run it native on the QNAP NAS.

I want to let you know I split the Synology posts from this thread and renamed it.
I didn’t want it becoming a catch-all for those new to Plex.

Today I installed the Plex server 1.221.4163 completly new, without my old com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db and com.plexapp.plugins.library.db files.
It looks like that didn’t help either, the console is full of error messages and unfortunately I don’t know what they mean.
Maybe you can have a look on it?
Also my QNAP is doing something, because the cpu utilization is 10 to 15% but PMS shows nothing under activity.
