Here is some feedback that I would like to see in coming releases. I have several Users in Plex but I can only reboot and shut down the system from the main user. Right now if someone uses Plex (my wife or kids) I have to switch user to the main user to reboot or shut down the system.
Would it be possible to let all users to reboot and shut the system down?
I installed 0.5.1, everything works great, except for 1 issue related to CEC.
My Pi 1 is connected to my receiver which is in turn connected to my TV. In 0.4.1 everything works great, did configure correct CEC settings under Peripherals. When I power off my TV, my receiver turns off too. The Pi stays on always.
But in 0.5.1, my tv turns off, my receiver turns off, but then after a couple of secs my Pi turns everything on again (receiver + tv). Using cec-client I noticed my receiver broadcasts some signal that triggers the Pi to do so.
I reinstalled 0.4.1, configured it, and it all works great again, I can power off my TV and receiver. Hope it will be fixed in 0.5.1
Now - this has happened twice in 2 weeks.....
Reinstall of the SD card fixes the problem but... :-(
Looks like you are getting corruption of the SD card, it's possible it may be permanently damaged, do you leave your Pi on 24/7, if not how do you power it down?

It normally runs 24/7 - but sometimes when it doesn't run like i want it to i reboot.... and now for the second time this was the result....

If by "I reboot" you mean using the "Restart" command in the side menu of RasPlex, then it should be completely harmless. It's only forced power-off + power-on reboots that can be expected to cause corruption, as power can then be broken during SD card write operations.
Spontaneous corruption of healthy SD cards can also result from PSU issues, such as unstable PSU voltage during SD card writes etc. And like Ned told you, some of the events that cause corruption can also damage a card permanently.
In your place I would first of all make sure that the PSU used for the RPi has sufficient current capacity. Then I would try with another SD card, hoping that whatever may have affected the first card won't happen again.

+1
Especially since the SD card is so easily corrupted.

Suggest you post this in the Plex Home sub forum, it is not a Rasplex specific issue and Plex Home is a PMS 'feature'
I have a wired network for media running dhcp, dns and AD from my physical server through 2x 24 port gigabit switches. Name resolution is working correctly and there are no duplicate host names or ips.
Is there some additional configuration required when using physical switches? Pings etc work fine to and from the pi, I will double check, but it would be interesting to understand any additional config requirements.
I have my plex server running on the standard 32400 port which I have opened on my router, I can see three new inbound rules on the VMs firewall that the plex server is running on, do I need to open any more ports anywhere else for the R pi to work and if so what and where?
Many thanks for all your help
PS got spotify working too, interesting to see if it works on the pi or not.
I thought it was a rasplex problem because I can reboot and shut down the system from all users in Plex on my Mac.
Oh, I will have to boot up my test PMS server that has Plex Home enabled and have a look, I don't normally run Plex Home as I don't need it, will report back.
I think the Bluetooth Adapter is working given the fact that I can see tons of Bluetooth devices.
When I connect to jsg's keyboard it prompts me for a code. I enter the code on the Apple Bluetooth keyboard but nothing happens and then it times out. The Apple Bluetooth keyboard is in pairing mode. Any ideas?
Edit: Do you think I have to do something like this:

Is the network adapter from your VM set to bridged mode?
That way you put it straight into same subnet as the machine you're running the VM on.
Since you're on a VM It's also possible you need to define a static route on your router.
Hello Rasplex community! Need some help pairing my apple bluetooth keyboard with my RP 2.
Device: Rasberry Pi 2
OS: "RasPlex 0.5.1 Pre-release"
Keyboard: Apple Bluetooth Keyboard
BlueTooth Adapter: ASUS USB-BT-400

I have never been able to get an Apple wireless keyboard to work either in Rasplex or OpenELEC.
As you can see from Github this is not really a high priority, but I'll continue working on it. Other bluetooth keyboards seem to work fine as other users have commented previously.

Thanks for the reply. I did run across that thread while googling every combination of OPENELEC / Bluetooth / Apple you can imagine. Very strange that this one keyboard has issues. I totally get that this is not a high priority. Any suggestions on Bluetooth keyboards? Also has anyone gotten the PS3 controller to work with rasplex. Would love guide for that. Found some for OpenELEC, but not sure if they translate to rasplex.
I have static IP's outside of the DHCP range assigned to all VMs. DHCP is running from the same physical as Hyper-V.
In terms of NICs I have a virtual switch with external network connecting to the physical NIC on the physical machine, this Virtual switch is used on all my VM's that need an internet connection. This virtual switch also has the option checked to allow management operating systems to share the connection.
