I installed the new version on the new Raspberry 2. Nearly everything is perfect, but I can not get the Hifiberry Dacplus to work .
I tried using the config.txt command (dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus)
I tried to blacklist the lirc-rpi by creating a disable-lirc.conf in a newly created .modprobe.d folder in /storage/.config/
dmesg gives me
[ 9.109798] snd-rpi-hifiberry-dacplus sound: ASoC: CPU DAI (null) not registered

nice release. The only issue i have is that the watch status bubble (unwatched/partly watched/watched) does not work automatically. After every TV show i have to mark the video manually.
Other clients (like my Samsung SmartTV) are able to change the status bubble.
#RPi 2 with Raspley 0.5.1
So, i found a solution: I disabled old trakt (API v1) and now the watched flag is set automatically
So I am awaiting delivery of my Pi2! In the mean time I installed RasPlex on a new MicroSD. Wandering if we still need to overlock in order to playback 1:1 BluRay rips?
Also does the RP2 need same amount of power? I have my current Pi B plugged in to my TV's USB port.

Thanks and any other input will be apreciated.
I didn't overclock and mine has no problem playing bluray rip in mkv format with all video, audio and subtitle tracks (~30GB files). I did have issues with my wifi being able to keep up with that bitrate and ethernet is not an option so i bought an Asus N66W and put it in media bridge mode and connected that to the ethernet port of the RPi2 and it works like a charm.

Interesting. I already edited the config file to overclock, now I am not sure what to do
On another note I almost forgot I also have to but new MPEG2 and VC-1 Licenses ! How do I get the Pi2 serial number again!? I Have to SSH in to the Pi!?

Overclocking is recommended for the RPi1, but not for the RPi2 as no safe standards for it are yet established. The overclock methods and values used for the RPi1 are almost certainly NOT applicable as-is for the RPi2.

Yes, that is the standard method. And then use the command rcork posted in his reply: "cat /proc/cpuinfo"
This will produce quite a long text for the RPi2, since it includes info on all four CPU cores. But just as with the RPi1, the serial number appears at the bottom of this text, after the info for the CPU cores.
Suit yourself. 0.5.0 superceeded by 0.5.1. Unlikely to be a 'stable' release for quite some time.
Regards
Went ahead and decided to take the plunge. Update channel is set to "prerelease." I get a message that I have the latest version (which is 0.4.1 installed). I rebooted. Same thing.

We are looking into that, you can download the latest release here https://github.com/RasPlex/RasPlex/releases scroll down to find the 0.5.1 release and flash to a class 10 SD card.
