Re-enable plex media server on wd my cloud home

I installed Plex Media Server on 2TB My Cloud Home. I was having some issues so I disabled Plex via the My Cloud Home app. Now, even when my laptop is connected directly to the router, I am unable to “configure” the Plex Media Server from the My Cloud Home app. I keep getting the following error:

This page isn’t working

HTTP ERROR 502

So, the Plex app does not show my wd cloud home server.

I’m having the same exact issue. I’m using a Mac running 10.13.6 - High Sierra. I’m not sure if it makes a difference between Windows and Mac. I can’t seem to find any answers on this.

Update: I was able to get it to work. Steps are below. My provider is Xfinity and I’m also using their router.

  1. Log into router from your browser.
  2. Click on connected devices and chose My Cloud Home
  3. Change the configuration from DCHP to Reserved IP and save changes. (This may take a minute)
  4. Enter this URL in your browser: http://[Reserved IP address]:32400/web
  5. You should now be taken to the Plex server setup.
