ReadyNas Pro 6 Legacy with OS 6.6.1 (6.7.0) PLEX not working?

Hi,

I have an older ReadyNas Pro 6 with 8gb om ram that have been working great and still is under OS 6+

But unfortunately i cannot get Plex to run. The install works and i see the app in app drawer and can toggle on/off. But wehn i am trying to accessing the server via //Ip_of_nas:32400// i get “searching for server” and then nothing. I have tried re-install, delete and re-install, reboot several times etc but nothing is working.

I then searched all the forums and have seen quite a few problems with ReadyNas and plex since OS 6.

So my question now, is it possible to get Plex to work under OS6 or is better to stop wasting time with netgear and ReadyNas and buy another Nas? Is there somone out there that has plex version 1.5+ running on an ReadyNas Pro 6 with OS6+

Kind regards // J

Just installed the update to OS 6.7.0 but everything is the same :frowning:

Could it be that i miss the libc6:armhf that they talk about in this thread?

i am using this version of plex if that was not clear

plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries_1.5.3.3580-4b377d295_amd64.deb

Solved! Sorry for this admin can delete tihis thread or maybe it is of use for someone in the future.

I was setup on a LAN with a non default ip-range setup. Change it to 192.168.0.1 ad the server was found.

So easy  and again sorry for post

I had upgraded from my Ready NAS to version 6.9.3 and my plex server wont be found. I had tried to uninstall and reinstall , restart NAS to no luck. My NAS and all other devices was in 1 subnet , yet it wasnt able to find the plex server .

I reset my home router to very default subnet , that seems to fix the issue. When my NAS got new ip , I turned on the Plex server services and clicked launch this time , I was able to start with normal plex server configuration meaning the Plex server was found.
