Really bad performance with a NAS as a source of media, is it just me or everyone has this issue?

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5291
Player Version#: 3.71.2

Hi guys
I use my Nvidia Shield as Plex Server, and I get all the media from my NAS, connected to the same network, and both units use ethernet cable, so performance on both must be optimal according to network speed and so. But Im getting a lot of performance issues related to buffering stops, “server discconected” when the server is in the same device as I use it as server and player, so it doesnt make sense… where can be the problem?

Thanks!
