I named my Doctor Who TV series like Doctor Who (1963) - sXXeXX - title
for the early ones and like Doctor Who (2005) - sXXeXX - title
for the later ones. Plex Server 1.19.4.2935 shows only the early set. The later set is nowhere to be found.
Odd, do you have them in the same folder? Mine show up fine.
Can you share the exact naming / folder structure?
With the year added to your file (folder) names, Plex should not confuse the shows and accidentally merge them.
The following naming is working fine for me (also based on the official naming schema):
TV Shows <- the folder linked to my Plex tv-show library
Doctor Who (2005)
Season 01
Doctor Who (2005) - s01e01 - Rose.ext
Doctor Who (2005) - s01e02 - The End of the World.ext
Doctor Who (2005) - s01e03.ext <- at some point I stopped to include the episode name in my file name
...
Doctor Who (2005 - s01e13.ext
Where .ext
is the file extension (e.g. mkv, mp4…)
My folder structure looks very similar to yours, which is why I am confused.
“Similar” and “Correct” are two different things.
I often have to Fix Match on Remakes.
Even with “Correct” names and structures.
