Recorded TV Shows Lacking Description Field

FYI, by following another thread, I made the change to my Recorded TV library I have and recorded some shows and they have descriptions now. I changed the scanner to Plex Series and TVDB from the Plex TV Series entry for both Scanner and Agent

However Plex now always shows an “Upgrade Libraries” notice in the activity arrow button. I can live with that.

If anyone has other methods, please let us know.

How can I keep program info from EPG for show saved in library?

A show I am recording through DVR has the correct metadata in the EPG guide, but the wrong data in my TV library. I’d like to keep the EPG data, how can I do this? I live in Boston and record a local news program by WCVB called ‘Chronicle’. The correct metadata appears in the Electronic Program Guide with the correct description of the show. After the show, the programs appear in my TV Library, but they have the wrong data. The agent appears to be matching the show to another program called ‘T…
