I am recording a series called “Grace Besides Me” I already have as series called “Grace (2021)” The system places the “Grace Besides Me” episodes in the “Grace (2021)” directory structure.
It has only started recently doing this.
Assuming you are capturing all this via a OTA tuner.
It happens from time to time where the broadcaster supplies the wrong metadata for a show to the EPG provider. There is no elegant way to automatically deal with this besides getting the metadata updated. Since the “Grace Besides Me” is a single season that has ended I would probably create a second TV Library and have the recordings go there till all the episodes are captured then fix the show name before moving the folder back to the main library.
If it was the metadata would it not only effect the folder but also the file name as you can see below the system gets the file name correct but puts it in the wrong directory structure. I am getting the epg for ICETV
