Can you point me to the forum post? I don’t see how a client workaround could solve this problem without having either black bars on the left/right side of the screen or cutting off most of the top/bottom of the screen.
The only way to fully support 21:9 is to completely rewrite the layout of the skin, this basically means creating a new 21:9 version of the original skin.
edit: I’m currently working on proper 16:10 and 21:9 support …

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this request.
Regarding Music, would it be possible to add the ability to Sort the Albums, first by Artist and then by Album Name?
This would result in the Albums being sorted by Artist and the associated Albums being shown together alphabetically.
This is kind of difficult to explain so I have enclosed an image of what I mean.

Is this in the developer build or 1.6.2? Maybe I’m dense but only option I see is the same as before (disable preplay screen for whole library as opposed to sections). Downloaded latest version (1.6.2) just in case there were updates, no difference. TIA.

This feature and much more will soon be available in OpenPHT v1.7. Just a little more patience, please …
OpenPHT doesn’t seem to respond very well after sleep in Sierra. It just gets stuck at “Please Wait…” and doesn’t come back.

I’ll try to finish it before the official v1.7 release but even if I can’t make it in time it wouldn’t be a problem to replace the skin at a later point. I’m halfway through the changes, but it will still take some time because I have to go through every screen to make sure the additional space is being used by the skin.
e.g. let’s take a look at the homescreen, with 21:9 we have more space available, so we can fill this gap with 2 additional deck items :

No rush! Awesome man although I’m surprised you’ve brought the left side deck closer to the center. Looks better closer to the left IMO but don’t let me stop you. 
I love anyone who supports 21:9.

Mouse support is enabled in this screenshot, that’s why the layout is centered and the home menu is a static list. This is necessary for proper mouse support, if you don’t enable mouse support you will get the exact layout you are used to now …
any word yet on 1.7 ? or for that matter the 21: 9 skin ? sorry just looking forward to the great work thats being done

@kwiboo has said 1.7 got pushed a couple days to squash some unexpected bugs from Plex’s new streaming brain. Still on track for release as soon the squashing is done.
