Small question, for us using the Odroid C2 embedded build, can we also update through auto update or do we need to reflash?

great work! app is functioning well again!

From what I understand, it will be available via the update channel. The manual flash update is available first as a safety mechanism.

Hi, I am a new user. I have tried this version of OpenPHT and the previous one. But for me, when video playback starts it tries to play it back on the wrong monitor. I have auto refresh rate enabled. The TV is connected to the HTPC via displayport to HDMI from the graphics card which is a GTX1050. Then the second monitor is connected to the onboard Intel graphics chip via VGA. There is also an HDMI cable going from the GTX 1050 to the AVR.

OpenPHT opens on the TV fine, and I can navigate the GUI and access the settings. But, when I hit play, I get audio but no playback, just a warning on the second monitor that the display resolution is not supported. Very odd!

you should really be plugging both monitors into your 1050…

Something in my remote buddy broke, but I fixed it by adding custom actions that correspond to keyboard strokes, instead of the native PHT functions. So I’ve gotten most my functionality back. Thanks for a great update  Appreciate OpenPHT massively

Thanks! you rock!

No can do. It is an analogue monitor (vga) all the 1050 outputs are digital only. Should have said that the playing back on the wrong screen issue is only present with OpenPHT not PHT or PMP.

Thank you for this amazing update!

How can i control openPHT with Yatse (3rd party KODI remote app)?.

Try running it in windowed mode.

The listening ports were changed to match XMBC/KODIs this version (1.7.x). You may need to update the settings to these ports.

Webserver Port: 3005 (TCP)
EventServer Port: 9777 (UDP)

I tried that, behaviour is the same.

1.7.1 finally gave me remote control with iOS back. Yay! But now openpht keeps crashing after about 2-3 hours of continuous playback. I get the windows dialog box telling me it has crashed and needs to close. :frowning:
I use Plex like its cable and keep tv shows running for the background noise while sleeping.

Restart the application, turn on debug mode, and attempt it again. Upload the log here. Maybe we can help.

thanks … i’m gonna try it

Hi, I uninstalled and re-installed OpenPHT and realised that as I had Windows Updates disabled, the .net framework had not installed. Sorted all that out and the second screen issue is now fixed, great!

I have noticed that Frontview+ no longer work with this version, any ideas how I would get that working?

Are the skin’s still updated via oPHT? because it looks like this feature don´t work…

Thanks for the new 1.7.1… looks fine…

I have finally updated manually, and I am a happy camper. My issues with audio in the Odroid C2 are gone, and everything is working fine. Great job guys! Keep up the good work!
