Am I right that the remote port is changing?
I got the remote access working som days ago, and I’m sure it was port 17729 but now it’s 17730.
Why is that?
It’s not uncommon, when your ISP-provided IP address changes, that a new UPNP port number is also selected.
This happens because PMS detects the IP change,
Deletes the existing forwarding rule,
Creates a new one to take its place,
Updates Plex.tv with your new address and port number.
Is there a range I can open to get rid of this?
This morning it just changed again.
Or do I have to specefy a manual port?
