Prior to this latest plex beta update, if remote access was on, there would be a checkmark in the side bar next to it, now there is no checkmark. and if I click apply to insure the settings are on, it causes a loss of remote access and a spinning wheel

It would be good if someone from plex could acknowledge this issue and that it’s being worked on, and provide your paying customers with some form of ETA to have this resolved.

People on reddit are also reporting this, so this is definitely a plex outage.

That’s because they only update it when there’s an issue which they know about and are working on. It’s not proactive like using something like UptimeKuma to monitor anything. Plex for the web doesn’t work but the Plex app for Mac OS does connect to my server. If I look at Remote Access from the app it shows it’s fully accessible from outside the network but has an unknown public and private IP address. iOS is also working with the phone only using the cellular network.
