Remote Access is kaput

I have tried it not ticking the Manually Specify Port and I still get the same error. I only tried the manual setting after reading on the forums that is sometimes help to fix the issue. My router is not an ISP provided router, it is one I purchased so any setting will stay as the ISP does not have access to it.

I’m interested in getting this running. Please let me know what actions I should take to accomplish this. My preference would be to use the setting that used prior to the server updates, that is, not using a Manually Specify Port.

I already spelled out what you need to do for the port forward

Worked on this and still not getting either way to work, the http://screenshots.portforward.com/routers/TP-Link/Archer_C7/Address_Reservation.htm is of no help, the screen shots are terrible and there is little instruction. I’m not a router expert and it seems that there should be better instructions that what was sent and the links provided. Again, this worked for months before the server software update and now nothing. Maybe someone else from plex can help.

The router comes with a user manual. The User Manual will have sections on DHCP Reservations and Port Forward setup

Suddenly I have excately the same problem with the remote access that is mentioned in this long thread. Is it caused by the new apps and updates? I have not changed anything in my router and the portforwarding on the mac. Now I can only stream by wifi in low resolution and poor audio quality… Please HELP!
