Remote Access issue

I moved my NAS yesterday, and since then my server is no longer accessible outside my local network. My NAS says it has access to the internet. I went through many forum posts, and PLEX guides to address the issue. But I can’t figure it out. I moved my NAS back to its original location, but that hasn’t fixed it. Things I’ve tried so far: changing DNS address on the server, different ports, turning off udnp. A representative from the isp came over and told me they don’t have a double nat configuration set up. So I’m at a loss. One person on a forum post said they had to use a new router to fix the issue. So I’m going to take my NAS to a friend’s house tonight to see if I can get it up on his network without changing any settings besides IP on my NAS. If that works then

I know the router is kaput. But until then do ya’ll have any ideas?

Update 29 Feb 2024: I have determined that my ISP configured my public IP using a CGNAT. So I have requested a dynamic external IP address so I can port forward my server successfully. Thanks especially to Tom for reaching out!

Have you already verified if the port forward settings on your router (e.g. still pointing to the local ip address of your PMS, accessible/visible from outside your home network → e.g. using a service like canyouseeme.org)?
Not being put into a CGNAT setup by your ISP is one thing… have you confirmed the server is actually connected to your router, not some other active network component inside your home network, e.g. some access point that established its own subnet…)?

I have Vodafone. I’m in Qatar. I’m also in an apartment complex. My routers ipv4 address is the address i get when I go to the whatismyipsddress website, so that’s another way I know there’s no double Nat going on. However the setup is weird to say the least. The walls of my house have Ethernet drops. There are eight of them total. The router is plugged into one of these connections and then goes into a server rack mounted in a closet. Then it goes into a module of some sort. The module has the fibre going into it from a switch somewhere else in the building complex. I’m not sure if this module is causing an issue. But the server was functioning perfectly until I moved it locations yesterday. Even moving it back hasn’t fixed it. I haven’t used the tool you are talking about yet though so I will give that a try before I go to bed. Also I had the same issue in my friends apartment, so I’m pretty sure the router is okay?
