Remote access issues. Unable to connect pluss way more

Hi all,

So I host my plex server on a NAS enclose (terramaster F2-210), and ever since I’ve had it, I’ve never been able to access my server when away from my local network. Everything works fine locally on the xbox app etc.

Because of this, I set up port forwarding (port 32400 as described in the guide), I did this and then enabled the port on within the plex settings, and voila, it worked! For a whole 3 seconds before the screen suddenly swapped to “disconnecting server” despite not being touched, a error flashed up saying unable to disconnect, then it booted me out of the Web app entirely with a message saying “invalid credentials”.

So, I sign back in, and now I can’t even connect to the drive at all. It just says that the drive is offline.

I’ve tried everything i can think of to get this working, I’ve restarted everything, ensured the NAS is using the latest plex server, I’ve followed all the guides, I’ve done everything.

I’m at my wits end… Please help me.

I’m also not too tech savvy, so please use layman’s terms where possible.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi,

Please advise your TOS version along with your PLEX app version for me to better assist you.
Also, does Plex say the drive is offline or your TerraMaster?

Kind regards
