I have a netgear nighthawk router. I just upgraded to Plex pass today thinking I would be able to resolve my remote access issue but it isn’t working. I have read the forums about changing my router settings and creating a port forward to specifically have access to my plex account remotely. I have access to my friends account when I log in and I can also get into my web access and my computer access/app access while I am on my own WiFI but I can’t figure out how to get my remote access to work.
I have my port forward setup to 32400, I have it manually triggered, I have also tried to disable, remove the server and re-enable the server. It appears it doesn’t seem to like getting through my router possibly. With the netgear nighthawk, I don’t see where I can ensure that I allow a specific website to have access through my firewall. I have disabled my firewall on my computer, and I have tried to use a DNS service as well. Any more information needed, please let me know but I cannot get my remote access to work. I even had my friend who has his working come over and look at it and he is a developer and we still couldn’t figure it out.
