we can talk about it but that will not help identify the problem. We have to wait until you have the disconnection and see what the diagnostics show
i found another strange thingā¦ it disconected againā¦ but who was wathing movie can acess normaly pms ā¦ but a new user if tryes to connect it cantā¦ very strangeā¦ send the log of a new disconnectā¦

It does not look good
Lots of time outs on internet connection - perhaps you are overloading the network / router.

Can you demonstrate that with logs showing same load level on the old version ? You would lose iOs access whilst performing these tests?

I am sending you a request i would like you to time to see how long it takes - just wondering if the number of shares (160+) is a factor on timeouts when getting list of access tokens
but i had this working with this shares in previous version and no problem at allā¦

Please we are only investigating at the moment. No conclusions yet.
To summarize the current position:
The server logs show a number of timeouts on requests to plex.tv - most being for the list of access tokens. The size of this access tokens xml is about 100Kb due to the high number of shares - about 160 - a level that is way above what a user is expected to have in terms of shared libraries and access tokens
There was also evidence of other timeouts on smaller requests.
The plex.tv logs are being checked to see if there was an issue but so far there is no evidence of a problem on the plex.tv end
The server logs do show a heavy load of remote streaming and also sync activity. It would be worthwhile assessing how much remote syncing is being done. The xml from this request will list all sync requests

It may be worthwhile to enable verbose logging for a short while on the server to see if time taken to download the access_tokens is logged - when it does not timeout (Settings/Server/General/ Verbose Logging)
@PLEXHOME01 - please could you also add to this thread the logs you PMāed me today and a short note to say what action you took and when and when did you notice the problem and why you believe there was a disconnection when the logs you supplied showed a remote iPAd having a connection to the server a few seconds before you shutdown the server
if you do not stop spamming all remote access threads - i will stop looking into your issues
