Remote access keeps disconnecting

The remote access of plex server on my Qnap doesn’t work…whenever I disconnect and reconnect it is available for some time and then it just disconnects…
my network setup is as follows:
I’m using linksys velop which is connected to the main ISP box…then I’ve connected a dlink DIR-665 as a switch which connects to the different lan ports across my house with which I connect My computers other 2 velops for wifi and 1 Qnap NAS which runs the plex server.
I’ve done the port forwarding on the main VELOP.
Can anyone help me out please

does your NAS have more than one network card? I have seen folks have issues when not using the primary one. The QNAP it definitely getting it current IP via DHCP from the first VELOP? Are you settings a static IP for it?

I’ve never used a mesh wifi system but guessing as far as NAS is concerned it is all wired
