[Remote Access] Not available outside your network.

Hey hopefully I am right here :slight_smile:

Theres a problem ongoing on plex. Im already trying since 2 Days to forward my Server outside the network, but it doesnt work…
My server is running ubuntu server edt. with some other stuff, and those things work with forwarding etc…

So I am at the moment pretty confused tbh.

I am just going to upload the log, probably it will helps, ahh and btw. i tried already other ports, but they are also not working.
Ahh and before I went for ubuntu it worked on windows 2016 Server edt.
Sometimes is Plex trying to connect but it takes like 2-3 Minutes and then it says that its not available outside the network.

Okay well, thank you - my friends were just kinda confused…
Well its still kinda confusin cause plex means its not available…
Whatever…

There is a known, and frustrating, bug between the bundled Plex/Web and the server itself.
It will dance between Red and Green while being fully accessible.

Until the Plex/Web team sorts it out, the only thing to do is:

  1. Make sure you have connectivity (verified)
  2. Leave the settings alone
  3. It it shows up red, refresh the browser page… It will go green… eventually (I know. total annoyance)
