Hi after the most recent update, Plex has stopped allowing Remote Access to my server. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Not sure if this helps or not, but at least a point of reference: Remote access still works on my server, current version: 1.13.4.5251.
You sure nothing else changed in your setup? Remote access still configured in Plex settings? Port forwarding still set up with your router? Could it be that your machine’s IP address changed and Plex remote access broke as a result? I know some routers can handle port forwarding to dynamic IP addresses, but to keep things simple, I set up my plex server to run on a machine with a static IP address.
I’m no expert, but hopefully this helps in your troubleshooting.
I am having the same issue. After the recent update everything just stopped working.
I’ve had this issue with several previous versions. My server is running on a Windows10 pc. In these cases I had the re-add Plex to the exception list of the Windows firewall. After that all was working fine. It does not happen after all updates, but this is the first thing I check if remote access is down. Hope it helps.
Also having this issue since the last update. Even tried redoing the port forwarding for the server and it still does not work.
