Remote Access Randomly Stopped Working

Not sure whats going on here, signed out and back into the server, restarted it, restarted my machine, the router. No dice. Has been fine for months. Any pointers would be appreciated!

having same problem. installed latest version plex, checked user privillages for plex on synology. restarted NAS
nothing working.when i activate remote access for few seconds its green and then red error to reach machine. i also setup manual port forwarding but not sure this is working as it should. my router does. not offer top many things despite it supports Upnp

Yep, downgraded to a previous version and same issue. I might try to fully remove plex and reinstall; super annoying.

Removed and re-installed. Same issue. So frustrating :cold_sweat:

I now also have this issue after the latest Plex update. Up until now, I’ve never had an issue with Remote Access working properly. It also manifests itself in oddly not allowing my devices to directly connect with my Plex server from outside my home. Never had this issue until the latest server update.

are you manually port forwarding or using UPnP?

If still not working it would be good to see logs from after the server starts up to see if there are any errors when connecting to myplex. You can filter on myplex to see the lines related to remote access.
