I cant get Remote Access working, Any help in much appreciated,
(Thanks in advance)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
My server- (PMS)
Ubuntu Linux 14.04.2
Plex Version 0.9.11.17
192.168.1.250
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Network - (93.107.101.187) Static IP address.
I have two routers -
Router A (192.168.1.1), connects from the internet to router b and broadcasts a Wifi signal.
Router B (192.168.1.254) is in bridge mode and broadcasts a Wifi signal.
The wifi signal is the same SSID and password (creating a seamless bridge between networks!)
The PMS is physically connected to router B.
Router A has the DHCP server on it.
Currently (for testing) there is no firewall on router A. UPnP is enabled.
DMZ is the PMS (192.168.1.250)
Port Forwarding is also set up (TCP & UDP 32400) to 192.168.1.250
canyouseeme.org returns a time out.
My internal network works (192.168.1.250:32400/manage/index.html#!/dashboard) but not remote access....
Can anyone please help......
Regards
Dave
have you port forwarded port 3200 for routerA to the 192.168.1.250 ?
have you port forwarded port 3200 for routerA to the 192.168.1.250 ?
Yes, Router A is forwarding all 34200 port traffic (TCP & UDP) to 192.168.1.250 although its called "Port Mapping" on this router-
That given, I shouldn't have to because under the same section "NAT" I've enabled DMZ to 192.168.1.250 - Meaning all unknown traffic gets sent to 192.168.1.250
OK, I've managed to get to connecting to Plex but not the internet.... (See screen shot)
I'm still getting nothing from canyouseeme.org
Thanks again guys-

seems to service issue, my server is offline, has been working fine with zero issue till tonight.
note i have replace my IP in log with 'xxx'
back working this morning, guess it was a Plex Service issue.
My issue is not fixed.....
Still the same problem...

david, select theoption for manually for port 32400 for plex server.
Once that's done, either restart or log out and log back in
I've done that. Still nothing.
Any ideas
