I have two plex servers setup. Both of them ave the Green Check Mark next to remote access active. But, I am not able to access Plex from any device or browser. I have the application properly port forwarded and my network is up and the computer is accessible remotely (using teamviewer). Typically, if something is wrong with one server, the other continues working unless the network is down. But, that’s not the case because I’m able to interact remotely with both servers. I’ve restarted the servers and computers… and signed out and signed back in on the servers and players. I’m relatively experieinced, so I’m wondering if something is wrong with the Plex.tv servers?? Thanks.
Rolled back to the version in this post and everything is working again.

I am having a similar issue with my PMS on Windows. I had taken it offline for a week, and after turning it back on (without changing anything else about the computer where it runs, or the network) remote access stopped working. This despite the Plex interface claiming that it’s set up correctly and should work (green checkmark).
Do we have any confirmation from Plex that remote access is broken in the latest versions of PMS?
Remote Access is not working for me on 1.10.1.4602
edit: After rolling back to 1.9.7.4460 Remote Access is still going straight to Indirect for me. I have verified the UPnP ports are being opened on my router

In the web player in my house, it shows remote connection as green and Fully Accessible. But on an android phone, I go straight to Indirect. If I pull up a web browser on my phone and point to my public ip and that UPnP port, I am able to get in to plex and the server shows Direct (not indirect).
Maybe this could be an android app/Plex.tv site issue? Or the upgrade/downgrade didnt actually set something back perhaps.
Remote access is not working for me either. I have plex in a Terramaster NAS. After updating to the latest available version 1.8.4.4249, remote access is not working.
Have then installed in windows 10 version 1.11.0.4633, and is not working either.
In both cases app says is fully accessible outside the network, but the fact is that for both the connection is indirect.
Ports are correctly forwarded and work fine for other applications

Seeing the same thing with my PMS running on Ubuntu.
I dropped and re-added the port-forwarding setting on my router, and it started working again. Did not change PMS versions. shrug
tried to drop and re-add the port-forwarding did not help, i have also tried several pms versions. running winodws 7 and google wifi. Really frustrating. But my god damn nvidia shield is online for remote, pretty weird since i don’t use it as an PMS.
When i press retry the server is online for like 2 secounds, before it goes Not available outside your network. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas
