I’ve had a Plex server for a number of years on my Qnap TS-451+ and have had remote access (with port forwarding) working successfully with a number of ISPs with Vodafone and Sky being the most recent 2. I recently switched over to Gigaclear but cannot for the life of me get remote access working.
I have the Linksys WHW03GCv2 node and have tried enabling port forwarding in 2 separate areas on the device (screenshots below) but neither of these seem to work. The remote access gives the impression it’s working, but then switches to “Not available outside your network” a few moments later and continues to flick between the 2 (screenshots also below). All external users are given an indirect connection. I’ve tried a number of troubleshooting steps from these forums and Reddit, prioritised the NAS on my router, rebooted all devices a number of times etc etc. but to no avail.
Has anybody had a similar issue and can assist? Any help is appreciated!
