I have the same issue and no one has been able to help me… I can use it only within my own network but outside like my office or parents house they cannot access my library anymore…
It was working just fine never had issues same ports etc but no it won’t work…

Bro thanks for your help! I did everything you told … I am going to show you. But, I am still having the same issue. The server goes in and out. Sometimes it works and my family can watch a movie remotely from outside our network, away from home, and sometimes just shows Service not available. Hit and miss!
I’m having the same issue, using a docker container on Unraid. I’ll open a thread over there, but something must have happened ~two weeks ago that broke this. Rock solid for 1+ year before that.

Yeah, plex app currently has some issues i believe. however, direct ip with port works fine only app.plex.tv doesn’t.
Not sure if this will help anyone, but I got mine working again. Ended up forwarding more of the ports Plex has buried in documentation,
|Plex|TCP/UDP: 47200 (my custom specified port)
|plex2|TCP/UDP: 32469
|plex3|UDP: 5353
|plex4|UDP: 1900
Nevermind, broken again after ~1 hour of uptime.
Update again. Disabled IPv6 on my router (AT&T Fiber 1Gbps), remote access working like a charm. Fingers crossed.

Trumpy81, I use Air Video with iOS for family members with Apple products. It sets itself up so fast it’s hard to believe. Your grandmother can use it. Plex is, and always will be buggy. Just look at your forums. I’ve used Verizon and Xfinity and never been able to set up remote access. Why is Plex so inferior that it requires so much customization???
Finally work the issue was not Plex but ATT Router, I guess an update mess up the port forwarding.
