Remote Access recently started losing constantly and sporadically

Recently my PLEX Media Server has started dropping my Remote Access for no reason. It has worked fine for years but now I can’t maintain remote access to my server. When I Retry it connects, but as soon as I leave the page it drops. All versions (game console, phone, smart TV) have lost access to my server. One moment it’s up…

The next its down…

I have done ALL of the troubleshooting steps and suggestions (checked remote playback restrictions, none; checked auto config, no issues, firewall, no issue; all Manual Port Forwarding checks like an assigned a static IP, ensuring the port is forwarded on the router, etc…). I set the logs to exclude VERBOSE, but it kept them anyway. As soon as I scrub all the VERBOSE from the log, I’ll upload it here.

For now, can someone point me to the previous version (say between December of 2024 and June 2025) that I can install instead? This latest version has wrecked my ability to view anything on my server, except in my office :frowning:

The last 3 previous installed version should be found in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Updates. However please keep in mind there is a block of version that are deemed “bad” see: Plex Media Server - Security Update.

When you change the log level setting, you need to restart pms for it to take effect.

Turns out my Synology DS220+ had an overdue update and package I needed to install. All good. Thank you, Automath and MovieFan, for answering even if I found the solution. Being willing to try and help should be appreciated. :slightly_smiling_face:
