Your IP and Port is in the logs, so I tried to browse towards it, using <IP>:<Port>/identity
which is an url, that is allowed without authenticating, which I naturally can’t
This issue has come up before regarding Comcast Xfinity customers. Check your router settings or it might be a Comcast app on your computer, there is something called XFi Advanced Security. Turn this off.
Oh my God, you’re a genius. You’re awesome. I’m going to buy you a present on your birthday. I have no idea how this got turned on, I didn’t even know it existed and it’s buried 4 menus deep on the website. When I finally found it, it said “We’re protecting your computer!” and every attempt to access Plex was listed as a threat. Thank you SO, SO much, you’ve prevented the rest of my hair from turning gray. I’m going to spread this around to others with the same problem, maybe it will work for them also.
Check the solution posted here, it worked for me and I’d be willing to bet most people don’t even know they have it if they have Xfinity.

turned off Xfi and still no internet access, local access works though - the android phone app can sometimes stream content while the samsung tv apps never seem to keep a solid connection
Are you using a manually specified port along with port forwarding or relying on the automatic one with UPnP. I always recommend going the manual route.

Please restart PMS and check your remote access settings. Confirm it’s not working by using a mobile device or having a friend try to connect. Then start a new thread since it’s not related to the issue with XFi and include your PMS logs.
I have disabled Xfi and have restrated many times – the webui shows no remote connectivity… actual outside network client connectivity is spoty
If you’ve already disabled XFi and it’s still not working, then you have another issue. Please start a new thread with logs from PMS so we can look into it for you. This thread is for issues with that XFi app.
So everything was working perfectly for a while. Then I updated Plex and now remote access doesn’t work and neither does Live TV & DVR. This is getting beyond frustrating having to search for answers every month to something that should just work.
