Remote access, Tautulli and problems with same ISP

Been browsing the forum for a month and google all the problems, but no luck.

My ISP changed some firmware or something on our internet 15jan and then the problems started.
Got a new Ip address and maybe dns server also is the only change i noticed, and since then people in my hometown can’t connect using wifi in the their own house (their own local network)

Remote access always is on, no trouble there.
Both port forwarding by my self and let the PMS choose port (udpn) works, tried both.

The server is on one pc, and I use another pc and mobile to watch.
I as a admin can watch in my on house both on wifi (lan) and on 4g

When users in my hometown tries to connect it’s just saying retry, and "Unable to connect to “PMS server” securely.

I have the settings on preferred in the server, tried but required and disabled, no luck
IPv6 if off and tried the relay on and off, but no changes.

But other shared users using another ISP from another place in the country can connect throug wifi as always and have no problems, both on relay on and off.

l have a friend that runs a server, and I can’t connect to him when on wifi at my house, but on 4g on my phone it’s works.

I have talked to my ISP and they said that they have not blocked our local networks after the update, read something about dns rebinding.

I tried setting up a ftp server just to check if they can connect that instead, but nothing.

Also since 15jan i noticed in Tautulli that all the people that have problems, show up with 127.0.0.1 as a ip address when they have tried to watch something / connect.
That is the ip address they get when on relay i read something about.
But they have never had that ip before, only after 15jan even if the relay has always been on before.

Is there anyway to check if we really are blocked against each other and they don’t know it happend ?
Are there some settings I need to change maybe, because its just the people in my hometown that have the problems.

Can’t change the dns server in my router, and can’t find a place to put in "plex.direct) or what it was as an exeption.

Do you still have access to the settings of your router?
If so, try changing the “DNS Server” away from “automatic” (or the pre-defined IP of your ISP) to either
8.8.8.8 (Google)
or
1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare)

Then reboot the router first, wait a few minutes, then reboot your server, then wait again a few minutes, then reboot all your clients.
If you can, do the same on the router of one of your Plex friends.

If you find settings for “DNS rebinding protection”, put the domain plex.direct into the list for which this protection should be disabled.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve added plex.local to the dns rebinding config and nothing has changed. My library is shown at my friend’s house but it just never stops buffering. When he was on a different ISP, this all worked great.
