Remote Access VPN + Plexconnect

Hello all,

 

I have a Window dedicate server with Plex. I have enable remote access VPN so i can see shared folders through internet.

But now i cant run plexconnect because VPN is using by default the 443 port (https).

 

Any idea how i can work both ?

Use another machine on the remote site to host plexconnect? (can be virtual)

Or:

Assign a second IP to the "Windows dedicate server" and let PlexConnect use that IP (settings.cfg). On the remote site point the ATV to that IP. Just make sure you can access the second IP through the VPN tunnel.

Why not using Plex's "cloud" services? MyPlex and such?

Maybe he doesn't want to / can't run a plexconnect instance at the remote site? Would be easier though...

I read that as him wanting access to standard windows shared folders remotely and not plex connect.
