I’m posting this in case someone else has this issue…
On my GT-AC5300 (bad ass router) running firmware 3.0.0.4.382_15984 I had to disable UPNP on the WAN to get remote access to work.
Even with the port forward configuration working, It still wouldn’t test as successful. Once UPNP was disabled it worked.
I’d been messing with this for over an hour before deciding to just try turning it off.
Hope this helps someone else too.
I have the RT-AC5300 with UPnP enabled with no issue with remote access. The only time I do have an issue is with VPN enabled.
Thanks for this…disabling uPNP helped me too!! I’ve spent days on this, switching modems, adding mesh nodes, I’ve tried it all and never thought to disable this. Awesome!!
Nope, it shows green, but when I refreshed the page it went back to red!!

Hey can you send me a link to how you got this done; I’ve been struggling with this and googling stuff for days.
